Name: Maruan Tammaoui
Born: 1990
From: Stavanger, Norway
Live: Stavanger, Norway
Position: Talent recruiter

Meet Maruan:
Born and raised in Stavanger with a diverse family background from North Africa. Morocco to be more specific! I have been lucky enough and got to spend longer periods in my childhood in this beautiful country.

After studying business administration, I quickly realized that I thrive more in relations to people rather than numbers. Especially the human relations that evolved in organizations. My career-path has therefore been centered around humans and work-related change management.

In my free time you’ll often find me outside in nature, behind the camera trying to capture the perfect sunset, reading a good book, playing Magic the gathering or around the dinner table with family and friends. I am a people-person and get a lot of energy from conversations and being around others. I am therefore never shy to invite – social happenings in general, I love to facilitate!

Educational background:
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business Administration and additional subjects in HR and sociology.

What is the quality you value most in others:
I value kindness and daring to show vulnerability.

What is the best advice you have been given?
Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change.

What do you look most forward to working at Easee?
During my short time in Easee I have gotten to meet so many wonderful people, who all have given me a warm welcome. I really look forward to getting to know them even better.

The culture here is unique with a strong focus on showing care and love, and always working to become a better version of yourself. As a Talent Recruiter I look forward to reflect our culture and values in our recruitment processes, and contribute to create Easee-recruitment standards that will be a gamechanger!

What are you most proud of?
A few years ago, I was invited to the Norwegian Parliament to talk about an issue I am really passionate about; the freedom to live one’s own life on one’s own terms, no matter the obstacles or expectations from others. I have never been more outside my comfort zone, but at the same time never been prouder over completing something.

Fun fact:
As a student, we wrote our bachelor thesis about « The development of microbreweries in Norway ». This meant that we got to travel around and visit different breweries to conduct interviews and gather information. Fun experience!
