Security awareness month 2022

Have you read about Easee in the newspaper lately, or have you heard others talk about Easee?

Did you see the last results from the Brand survey? Do you think the Musk campaign put us on the world map?

If you were a cybercriminal, would you notice a bold and fast growing company like Easee?

As we continue to grow it is highly likely that we will be a target for cyber criminals at some point. When, we don’t know. The impact of an incident will depend on our team effort to mitigate risk and vulnerabilities, including the human risk (each and everyones awareness around security). As the technical measurements are getting more secure, the human risk is increasing.

Social engineering and phishing is now a standard way of operating for cybercriminals. We, as the first line of defense, therefore need to work together and to have an active focus on these threats. We believe that all Easeetonians need more tools in their personal toolbox and knowledge on WHAT to do, WHY it’s important and HOW to do it?

That is why we use October to shed some light on security awareness, and to boost the focus on security in Easee. We need everyone on the security team!

The road towards a Strong security culture – starts NOW!

  • What is it?

One month where the world unites against cyber threats. The intention is to raise awarness among all citizens and organisations by promoting security and cyber hygiene.

The campaign is marked on all levels government, universities, think tanks, NGOs, security partners as well as private sector business.

Hundreds of activities across the world conferences, workshops, trainings, webinars, presentations and more

  • Why in October?

We want to join the world united front against cyber threats.

The security team together with security champions have had enough time to mark the start of the road towards a stronger security culture.

This does not mean that you shouldn’t pay any attention to security the rest of the year, but it gives us four weeks to focus a little bit extra on the topic.

  • What to expect!

Throughout October we will share different activities with all Easeetonians.

The key objective is to give you a set of tools, and context, to make the right and secure decisions on an everyday basis.

Do your part, go with the flow and keep an open mind. To some, this will be old news and for some it will be revolutionary.

However, we need to start at the baseline and we hope everyone will be reminded on the what, why and how’s. And we hope you will use this on a daily basis going forward.
